Our web-based software enables businesses to send permission-based
emails to their subscribers.
Second Story Solutions believes in the tenets of permission-based email marketing.
Our client members may only use our software to send emails to customers and
prospects that have agreed to receive email from them. Second Story Solutions
forbids the transmission of unsolicited commercial email (spam) via our system.
If our members choose to use an external opt-in list of email addresses, we require those companies to supply the source of the names and email addresses, and the method used to capture the data, to Second Story Solutions. The manner in which the names were captured is important when responding to subscriber complaints that Second Story Solutions may receive. We also encourage our members to respect their customers’ time and attention by controlling the frequency of mailings to individual email addresses.
How do we protect your privacy?
We use strict security measures to protect against
the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. Please review

Why did you receive an email from our system?
If you received an email from us, it is because one
of our clients used the Second Story Solutions software system to send you
an email. Our client members must agree that all email addresses used in our
system are opt-in names that have given permission to the client to send them
email. We promise to keep your email address secure and private and agree
not to use it for other purposes.
How do I get off an email list?
Each email sent through the Second Story Solutions
system contains a link that allows subscribers to unsubscribe from receiving
emails from the sender. Each email sent contains an easy and automated way
for you to unsubscribe. Also, you can change your expressed interests at any
time. If you wish to unsubscribe or change your interests, simply follow the
instructions at the bottom of any email. If you have received an unwanted
email sent by the Second Story Solutions system, please forward a copy of
the email with your comments to abuse@secondstorysolutions.com
Will your information ever be shared, sold or
rented?
We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal
information without your advance permission, unless ordered by a court of
law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees responsible
for managing this data.
Verified Opt-in
Second Story Solutions has taken an additional step
for permission-based marketing by building the technology for “verified
opt-in” into our web site email collection tools used by Second Story
Solutions and many of our clients. Any time someone adds their email address
using our name collection tools, they will be sent an e-mail asking them to
verify that they wish to receive communications via email. If verification
is not received, Second Story Solutions will not send them any email.
If you have received unwanted, unsolicited email sent via the Second Story Solutions system, or purporting to be sent via Second Story Solutions, please forward a copy of that email with your comments to abuse@secondstorysolutions.com for review.
